Assembly output

From fixture-controlled joining to installation-ready groups

The delivery state can range from welded subframes to finished product sections. Geometry, visible weld condition, coating and shipment split are planned around that final state.

Assembly engineering

Plan the joint, fit-up and final appearance together

Welding is one part of an assembly route. Component preparation, access, sequence, distortion risk, visible weld expectations and later finishing should be reviewed before production.

Joint & Access

Drawings should show joint location, weld access, required faces and any areas that must remain clear.

Fixture & Sequence

Assembly datum, orientation and welding sequence are considered to manage fit and dimensional movement.

Weld Appearance

Identify visible areas and whether welds remain as produced or require a specified post-weld appearance.

Finish After Welding

Color, coating, masking and surface preparation must be coordinated with the completed assembly.
